ESWA Members Pick Up Skiing Tips at Clinic
Nashoba Valley Ski Area has been entirely open for weeks and ESWA members Bill Jones, Dave Mongillo and Gerry Pallor took advantage of the great conditions Thursday, Jan. 19, by participating in a ski clinic with Olympian Pam Fletcher of Nashoba Valley.
After coffee and breakfast, the group spent the morning on the slopes getting expert ski tips from Fletcher, working on basic techniques and even skied through racing gates, Fletcher video taped everyone's progress and the group viewed the tapes.
The three ESWA members had lunch at Nashoba’s Outlook Restaurant and were joined by Nashoba founder Al Fletcher, Pam’s dad. The afternoon was spent touring the mountain, the terrain park and practicing new skills.
